Flickrvision

In my previous post I told you something about service oriented architectures (SOA’s) as part of Web 2.0.

Well, now check this out: Flickrvision.com
Flickr is a typical 2.0 website for community-based sharing of photographs. Put this in the blender with Google’s mapping service, and you get Flickrvision: a continuous presentation of uploaded pictures, shown on a world map.

In technical terms this is called a ‘mash-up‘ : mixing two or more services to deliver a new service…

Maybe an idea for Nokia, Sony-Ericsson, … to have a branded version of this showing the pictures people take world-wide with their mobile phone?
